My god are these things slow with the slushbox. Maybe it’s the altitude, but I can be flooring it trying to get onto the highway/main road and I swear it takes a good 7 or 8 seconds from a dead stop to get to 50 MPH. Also, the driving position.

I rode in one of those. It was actually not as bad as I was expecting. It had AWD and leather so it was basically an Audi.

I find that I’m either bolt upright or leaning back a little too far. Pedals are way closer to you than the wheel. Somehow, they make a single exhaust NPI Crown Vic seem moderately perky.
